The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.freeserve.com', Server: 'smtp.freeserve.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

How do I correct this?

I am receiving emails but cannot send!?!?!?!

It might sound a daft question, but are you connected to t'internet through freeserve? I think freserve block connections to their smtp server from outside their network.

One reason i ask is that i know a couple of people who've found a premium rate dialer on their computer recently.

If you actually dial a freeserve number when you connect to the internet you shouldnt have a problem !

If you dont dial a freeserve number you can change the smtp server to the isp you do use to dial up, and still send mail with a reply to address of freeserve ! i do this with all my 5 or 6 emails accounts and it works a treat.
