Can Someone please help my outlook2000 installation has errors in the outlook.pst file and it tells me to close all mail enabled programs and run the inbox repair tool only i cannot find the inbox repair tool
please help

Try renaming outlook.pst to outlook.old, then restarting Outlook. If this doesnt work search the knowledge base at Microsoft.com

Have a look for:

c:Program FilesCommon FilesSystemMAPI103395Scanpst.exe

on a Win95 system

or

c:Program FilesCommon FilesSystemMAPI1033NTScanpst.exe

on an NT system.

Run this but make sure Outlook 2000 is shut down first.

Thanx Guys
tried your suggestions i can now get in a read my email but i cannot look at my sent folder and i cannot delete some received mail
i guess a reinstall is in order unless anyone can suggest something else
