Hi Simon, best software to use is Nero ,make sure in nero you only put your files in the red video ts folder, hope this helps
Just noticed simon your trying to play +disc`s in a -dvd recorder. I`ve got a phillips +dvd recorder and it struggles to play -disc`s

Simon check out E-buyer there selling a sony 4 times write dvd burner for £98.It`s dual format aswell. My sony dvd player will play both formats but like I said the Phillips dvd recorder won`t. Have you tried your disc`s on any other players?

its your player mate, not the burner.
Get a cheap and cheerful jobby as they will play almost anything you throw at them
That said, you would be best with a + / -

Our ps2 plays both + and - no bother as does the dvd player likes been said some dvd players just don't play dvd r media at all my mate owns a electrical shop and that question of will it play dvd r is the most common question he gets.
I bought a dvd writer recently but went for one that writes + and - so iv'e got the option.

lol @ PG you an expert now mate?
Forget Nero m8, contrary to what everyone's telling you, it's pants for burning movies as it typically skips errors where it should be terminating. Use 'Primo Prassi' or 'Record Now MAX' for burning your VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files (or .img files)
Also, for best standalone compatibility, forget +r media and go for -r Ritek (Azo) dye disks. These are now available sub-£1/disk
eBuyer now have the Pioneer 106 for £85 inc VAT...it's a deal...it's a steal...it's sale of the century!
