In 10 years of using MS development software I have never had a support call either answered at all, or answered before I managed to sort it myself LOL!
I always use the MSDN newsgroups as people are generally very helpful on there.

yeah I know what you mean....
the problem I have is with windows 2003 & an undocumented migration which I am trying to do. Most of it has worked & will save a shed load of time & effort BUT there are a couple of issues I need help with.
cheers

Have always found MS support helpful. We found a bug in a .Net remoting security sink they promote and worked with MS France for a fix a couple of weeks back. They can usually put you through to someone who knows their stuff

For the 3/4 incidents I've logged, have *always* been asked for the contract number. When there is an open incident, they've been happy with the SRX number.
