OR are you always asked for a Software Assurance ID or Contract ID ??

I have our details from our resleer & both of the latter are missing & therefore I can't log a call!!

In 10 years of using MS development software I have never had a support call either answered at all, or answered before I managed to sort it myself LOL!

I always use the MSDN newsgroups as people are generally very helpful on there.

Have always found MS support helpful. We found a bug in a .Net remoting security sink they promote and worked with MS France for a fix a couple of weeks back. They can usually put you through to someone who knows their stuff

For the 3/4 incidents I've logged, have *always* been asked for the contract number. When there is an open incident, they've been happy with the SRX number.
