Unhappy

My company have asked me to take a look at our existing website and see how much of it we can work on ourselves (as the people who built it were total cowboys). All seems easy enough...except the animated menu's that work on mouse over.
They look to be .inc files and I have no idea what this means! Can anyone tell me what they could be and how/if I could edit them?
Cheers

what are the contents of the files like?

try opening them in wordpad. you might get an idea of what they are (.inc - possibly means include, which could be php/javascript/html type of file)...

Cheers, it seems to be something to do with Javascript, would there be any tool I can use to edit it?

Wink

click on start
click on run
type notepad
press enter

Caveat: if you name a file with a .inc extension and expose it to the web, people browsing the site can download the uncompiled source. It is far safer to name the file .asp even if it only contains javascript!

I use Sothink DHTML Menu maker for mine. Very easy app, totally customisable and editable. Cheap too! Have a look here http://www.sothink.com/
