Being ......well, not that great with computers, the thing I am trying to do may well be outwith my capabilities but I would like a little help from you guys.

I am looking to buy an internal DVD drive and then buy a box for it give it a PSU and a firewire connection so I can use with my laptop and desktop.

I am told this is a cheaper alternative to buying a external (which does appear to be the case)

The question is what do I get and where from ??
