for some reason this site just keeps popping up all the bloody time.

Any ideas what it is? I get the impression it's a wee programme being a pain in the ****....

Sounds like you have some spyware on your PC. I would get a copy of Ad-aware or Spybot and run these on your machine on a regular basis. I would be pretty sure that one of them will get rid of this for you. Both packages are free and can be updated with new signature files every few days or so.
