Question

Ive just moved and have to give up broadband for trusty old 56k dial-up so Im looking for a decent unmetered access provider that provides a reasonable monthly limit and a realistic contention ratio, anyone recommend an ISP?

Cheers

I wouldn't recomend Tesco's.

It's reasonably cheap, (£13pm), but it knocks u off every 2 hours , comes with it's own dialer that you can only minimize onto the task bar (ie doesn't dissappear), and doesn't reconnect automatically after it's thrown you out.

Oh and when you connect, it insists on diverting the first open IE windows to tesco.com

i use v21, its ok not great £10 a month 42 hours of connection a week 3 hour cut off, only problem is the contention as at certain times can be nigh on impossible to connect.

I have been with Freeserve now for about 2 years. Not a bad service £13.99 a month for 24/7.
