found an 8310 not long ago and being a good guy handede it into where i found it then a month later nobody claimed it so i was sent it back. so i started to use it using my own sim card i destroyed the sim that had been in it and last week it was cut off.
where do i stand for getting it connected again??
or does anybody know someone who could maybe get it connected 4 me? ;-). moderator feel free to move this as u see fit.

If you need to get the phone unlocked, ther is a guy in the Aberdeen market that will unlock it for you for £10. I changed my O2 sim car from a Nokia 3310 to a Sony Ericcsson T38i and the sim didn't work so I went to the guy at the market and it only took 5 minutes for it to get unlocked.

Did the phone originally work with your SIM card?, if it did and suddenly stopped working then it's likely that the phone itself has been cut off by the service provider, because the original owner has reported it lost.
In this case unlocking it will not help you.

This only works if the phone is locked (to one network) if the phone is blocked then that is a completely different matter.
Unlocking Nokia phones is very easy and legal (if you own the phone), unblocking a phone is probably illegal as it would involve changing the IMEI number.
