Gran Turismo 4 - delayed...
#3
To be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to it that much anyway. The changes all seem costmetic really.
They claim the handling and physics have been uprated too, but the reviewers couldn't really tell. Obviously the proof will be in the final build, not an alpha or beta version.
As for the online gameplay - can't say I'm all that interested in that either, although it'll be interesting to see if I can use some kind of wireless access point to link my Playstation to my cable broadband.
What I would say is check some of the new italian stage levels - the pics look great - think Sega Rally through Italian mountain villages with an Integrale.
The 3D modellers have gone to town on the cars available too - think Gran Turismo 2's levels of cars. Obscure stuff, muscle cars,etc...

Does it have the cosmetic upgrades section like in GT2 where you could fully transfer your car.
How long is the GT cycle likely to go on for, are we going to be seeing GT10 etc
