Is there a site I can download an ISO image or setup files for Internet Explorer 6, so I can burn onto a CD to use on a PC with a slow connection?

Found the IEAK, but that's only 2.5Mb, so can't include the setup files, as they could be up to 25meg

That appears to be a critical patch for IE6, not the full item

Mail me if you want the URL.

Just download Mozilla, or Firebird. It works, and it doesn't suck!

Opera 7.11 is the way forward.

it should have no probs simulating your IE environment, even if your running *nix.

Its much faster too.

What you need to do is download & run the setup for IE6, and choose custom, and there is an option for downloading the files and NOT installing them

Then it asks which OS versions you wish to download, select all of them, and leave it ot downlaod to the folder of your choice

I did this the other day, after trying to find a full download of it

Ability to do that depends on the OS you're "installing" onto...

Mr.Cookie,

Make sure you enable 'mouse gestures'

They seem strange at first, but once you get used to them, you can't visit a web page without em

I am so addicted to it I run Opera on my Windows, Linux, BSD and Solaris machines.
I belive they have even ventured into the mobile phone market.
(might have to buy a PDA now......maybe I'm going a little overboard though )

Not sure, I don't use that part. I'm normally on Kmail.

Can't check at the mo cos we use the std netscape here (work) on linux m/c's.
Can check when I get home though if you've not sussed it.
