If it's Apple hardware you can't run Windows on it natively. You can do it with Virtual PC though, but it'll still be a Mac and not really ideal for your parents

Why on earth would you want to ruin a perfectly good computer with Windows ?

I can totally assure you especially if you parents are maybe not totally computer literate the a Mac is much easier to use.

Bought an Imac for a mate of mines mum and she totally picked it up within a week and she'd barely seen a computer.

If you need help on the Mac just ask.

Too right, even my Dad has an iMac and he hates computers. I've had one at work the past four months, it's very good.

cheers peeps

they are not very literate when it concerns pc's but are now quite confidence with windows and don't fancy having to navigate around a new system

cheers

Thumbs up

One of the greatest (IMHO) things abouts Macs is that when something goes wrong, a reboot will usually sort it out.

It is VERY rare that the OS becomes screwed and a rebuild is required. If you do need to rebuild then it is incredibly easy.

PCs are not as good when problems occur.

For Mac P2P get LimeWire or m|Mac. Do a search on VersionTracker
