How can I convert avi files to mpeg?

My CD burning software won't burn avi files.

Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

im sure the newest nero6 does it but you then need a software addon from them as well to convert

how about converting your avi to divx?

try DrDivx with a simple wizard so its easy to use
