Finally got round to trading in a load of old PS games and a couple SNES games, managed to cobble together £85 quids worth so bought a S controller for the Xbox and midtown madness 3 and return to castle wolfenstein.
I was determined to get something for the X-Box but both these two are IMHO pants, maybe I've not given them enough time yet but MM3 whilst it looks OK is naff, just drive over pretty much everything. Castle Wolfenstein does not grip me like MOHF on the PS2 did.
So I will probably take them back but now wonder if I should get some more PS2 games instead.
Is the SOCOM game on the PS2 anygood for someone with out broadband?
Is Ghost recon any good or is it mostly a stratgey game?
I like the GTA games, GT3, Colin McRae2, TOCA (the original PS).
Feel I want a driving game but may wait for GT4 and Project Gotham 2 (is it) Love Halo and look forward to Halo2.
So what is good on the X-Box? Heard CM3 is not that good and the demo I played didn't seem as playable as CM2, Rallisport challenge didn't really do it for me.
Any thoughts? (I know, use the search )

Get TimeSplitters 2. Gets so frantic you won't believe it. Also has some very funny stuff in it - try the monkey assistant deathmatch games.
Metal Gear Solid 2, Ratchet & Clank are also excellent. Tomb Raider AOD is also worth a look. If you liked GTA then you'll probably like the Getaway - although I thought it was pants and sold it on ebay.

I agree with you about Midtown Madness 3. Utter chod I thought!
Have you got Project Gotham Racing? I presume you have as it's a 'must buy'. Also Splinter Cell is a cracking game. BurnOut 2 is a good laugh with some mates. CM3 is ok, not as ground breaking as some magazines made out. TOCA Race Driver is ok.

The best games I have played for the XBOx are as follows,
Rocky its amazing and the graphics are sweet even better get a mate round and kick the crap outta him :-)
Burnout2 pretty decent fast as hell and quite smooth graphics :-)
Max Payne BEST GAME EVER IMO !!! come on number 2 :-) :-) :-) played it pretty much for 3 days solid to complete it

I don't have Project Gotham, thought I might wait for the next one... I only had Halo until these two...
Can get PGR or CM3 cheap 2nd hand, what about SegaGT2002 ?
Burnout2, I don't think my cup of tea. Nor Rocky.
Splinter Cell I had on the PS2 and did it.
Is the other Metal Gear worth getting?
Cheers,
Rich

If you have MGS2 Sons Of Liberty, then MGS2: Substance is probably not worth getting - it basically the same game with an expansion pack.

RT Castle Wolf is good on Xbox live, never really played it offline though. If you are concidering CM3 dont, CM4 is out soon I think.
Only game I really play at the moment is MotoGP2 but that's on Xbox Live as well. Splinter Cell is wicked!

Waiting for Project Gotham 2 and Halo 2
