I am in the middle (actually near the end) of creating a web site that I have told people would be lauched mid this week.
One of the sources of information has not given me enough info, which means that some of the pages would be very light, until next week. I am tempted not to launch and put a temporary page up with a confirmed release date, but what would you do ?

One thing to consider is that the sooner the site itself is up there, the sooner it'll start to be indexed by the search engines. Even if it's light on content, getting it online a few days early isn't going to do any harm.
I've always thought that websites with nothing but "under construction" or "due to launch next week" are completely pointless.

Thats what i thought Mark, get it up asap (ooer) but I despise sites with "Under Construction" all over them !!!
I think i will get it up tonight, with the info i have as there will be no under construction pages, as they will all be done, but just with little info.
Then i will get it sorted properly at the weekend at Brands when i get to site with me mate and his team (and more importantly his sponsors - kerchinngggg) to get more info.
Cheers
