SOCOM on Playstation 2 - Online gaming.

Has anyone on here tried SOCOM on the Playstation2 online yet?
I have played the game off-line and think it is pretty cool...the headset adds a nice touch!!
Haven't got broadband but was considering it anyway and wondered what the gameplay was like for these sort of games on-line....is it as smooth as when you are playing it by yourself or is there a bit of a time delay/'slow down' etc. during heavy gaming with lots of people on-line?

I've been playing this game on line for the last few months. It runs exactly the same as when you play offline. I think its good, especially if you get a froup of mates on it and you play as a team. Brilliant game online.

Not sure if you can get the headset seperate.
I assume the box on the cable holds the voice recognition software, so not just any headset will work.
Why do you need another one?....or shouldn't I ask!
