FTP Server
#1
Does anyone know of a GOOD (read commercial grade) FTP server that is free (or cheapish) as I have to build an internal FTP server for buttons and it will become quite important over time ?

I've been using WarFTP for ages and it's free.
Titan started off using it before moving onto a commerical FTP server.

We use Titan FTP Server here. See here
Works fine for us and it was under $40.
I thought about setting up IIS on one of our W2K servers but as titan was only $40 it was cheaper buying it then me spending time getting IIS working.

Well chaps the decision has been made, we installed war ftp and also bp ftl. It has to be said that BP ftp is of magnitudes easier to use (IMHO) than Warftp, although war ftp is free, whereas bp ftp is not.
It took me 20 mins to get bp ftp up and running the required script and that is good in my books, but then again perhaps we dont need the complexity and depth provided by war ftp.
Thanks for the many suggestions and I am now a happy bunny
