hey

Ok, I've been playing about with photoshop & paintshop, and they don't seem to have a batch process function that can resize images to a certain % of the original

Having one would save a hell of a lot of time, so is there another package that has this funciton? or a patch for either of the above?

Cheers

Hardly a patch - just standard Photoshop facility...

Open an image
Actions palette - New Action
Give it a name, press Record
Do the resize required
Actions palette - Stop Recording

File|Automate|Batch
Select action created
Choose input and output destinations.. and other self-explanatory options (well, almost)
Press OK

Sit back and enjoy....

Wink

If you're using XP there is a power toy available free from Microsoft that will resize images to the popular screen resolutions. It just pops an extra menu item in explorer.

Doesn't sound quite what you want for this, but quite handy to have anyhow.
