Question

I did a clean install of XP Pro and tried to setup OE6 to look at my old mail store that I kept. Thing is, it can see the Sent Mail and other folders, but it can't see the Inbox mail that I had. My Inbox.dbx file is about 32Mb so I know its in there, I just can't see it

Any ideas ?

So the inbox, sent, deleted etc; are all in the same folder.
And from the sent folder you can see stuff you have sent; correct ?
Within OE6, in tools\options , maintenance tab, store folder button. The path listed, is where all your old stuff is kept; yea ?

All exactly

The Inbox.dbx file is 30 odd meg but theres only 5 small (new) messages in my inbox All my old ones will not appear.

I tried importing from the Inbox.dbx file too, it says it completed, but it doesn't import any files.

Yep

Got an inkling that it may be to do with the fact that I changed my login name slightly. Reckon that could affect it ?
