It just won game of the year also

Anyone know how playable it is on a modem? Although for 55 quid for the game and expansion i will be awaiting a joint purchase/release.

Ok Mr Footlong and other informed guys what is best vid card for this game .apart from 9700 pro . what kind of ram and cpu to make this game run smooth

I've got 512 MB of RAM and Im using a "connect3d radeon 9500 pro series" graphic card and it runs smooth.

My old machine used to run it just about ok with graphics and sound on the lowest levels

the spec was

550MHz PIII, 256Mb Ram and a Geforce2 GTS

runs fine on my athlon 2000xp wiv geforce 4 ti 4600 "golden sample"

using 1gig of DDR though

For most players, it is pretty pap on a modem, but if you get very high connection rates and stick to decent UK servers, it is playable, apparantly.

Anything below 512mb ram does hit the overall game performance quite a lot.

I would only really get this if you are into multiplayer gaming, as single player is a little pants. The multiplayer side completely rocks

i have an xp 1700 cpu and geforece ti4200
Along with my 56k modem I find that I can still get a goood game on the net with decent resolution
i also have 256 mb ddr memory
Games take a while to load but its still very playable and i get a decent amount of kills

Yeah runs better with 512, at the mo i have a Geforce3 ti200, i know i have to upgrade but feel the g4orce 4 is not the way to go after years of nvidia , ATI is calling. when are the price of the 9700 coming down.
