Question

Does anyone know of a cheap place to get a Radeon 9700 Pro?

I'm not fussed whether it's in this country or another! Anything to drop the price slightly!

It would also mean that the ABIT Ti4200 128Mb I bought about a month ago for £130, would be sold for £100!!!

Any ideas and if that goes through, offers on the Ti4200!

Si, some of us actually use the graphics cards, funily enough to play games on with the nicest visuals possible, not just for 'benchmarking'.....

I'm getting back into game playing.

It's been a few years though! I remember when the benchmark was a TNT2!!!

Anyway, the Ti4200 is good, but I want to run UT2003 at a higher resolution!

Wink

I had a couple of Voodoo 2's with SLI as well!!!

Oh well, back in the day (**** I'm sounding old!!!)

I guess I have to play at 800*600 and practise until I'm good enough to have a Radeon 9700Pro!! (According to Nick )

Red face

Nick,

You are right, there wasn't a huge leap in performance!! But it sounded cool!!!

The bit in my last post was a sarcastic dig at your comments about Si (but I misread it and took it as a comment for me!! ) wanting a Radeon!!! Take it as it was meant!!!

Andy

[Edited as I'm a plank that doesn't read posts properly!!! ]

I think mine ended up in the big void known as The Computer Exchange! I'll have a double check though!

Although I know someone at work wants rid of his Voodoo cards, I'll make sure he sees this post!

Question

Jebus, you'll be lucky!!!

I know of someone else that thinks he has one tho.

Why do you think you need that tho specifically?

I can get the last drivers made for it easily enough.

Cheers,

Nick

Right, I have the card in my hands.

A 12MB Creative Voodoo II Card with VGA passthrough lead and original Driver CD!. Not that I would recommend using that

Mail me.

Cheers,

Nick
