I installed it as a trial a couple of weeks ago, running approx 2.5k users through it seems to be handling things well.
Thing I'm so far not too impressed with is the amount of URL's it picks up as not catagorized. Approx 2/3rd's of all traffic isn't being classed.
Is WebScense any better?

Yes....next question I'm assuming your refering to websense. Websense is also Opsec compliant so you can use your Checkpoint FW-1 (assuming you have such a beast) to automatically redirect web traffic to the websense box. This allows you not to have to make any changes to the Proxy settings on the client.
I've seen Websense scale to 5K plus users via multiply boxs.
My prefered solution is to use a NetApp HA pair for this number of users.
You could also use Active Net Steward from Security Designers which is a distrubuted firewall & content filtering solution.

I didn't think I spelt it right
So is Websense better at catagorizing sites then, I don't see the point in it if nearly 75% of the sites its been filtering in the last 3 weeks go though un-classified.

Websense has a reputation of having a much larger list of 'dodgy' sites than surfcontrol. They have people search the Net for dodgy sites all the time (great work if you can get it !!!!!)
Nothing is going to be 100% but Websense is closer to it than Surfcontrol.
