Is this any good? Will I have to dedicate 'serious time' to it? Played a very early verson of sim city and got bored v quickly as had to start from scratch. Does version 4 have semi built cities or suchlike that you can change rather than starting from the beginning?

thanks.

Got it the other day. Bit of a pain to install on my PIII 650, 384mb ram.

Had to close EVERYTHING to install it. Basically shut everything in the icon tray, and CTRL+ALT+DEL and kill all other processes bar the essential ones. Then it installed fine.

Running it isn't a problem, don't need to close anything from the icon tray. Doesn't seem too slow or anything to be honest.

Not played it too much as I haven't had time so can't really give a review of it.

Its good, but it does give your system a good caining when you play it, when a city gets very large it causes noticable slowdown on my system (XP2000, 512mb PC2700 GF4 Ti4400) but its nothing bad really.
