Open My Computer, then C drive or d: (whatever) then go Tools (on the top menu bar), Folder Options, Offline files - Make sure that use Offline Files is ticked & set up. Click OK
Then HIGHLIGHT the folder you want to Sync, Click Tools (top menu bar), the SYNCRONISE.
This will place the folfer into your Sync List.
I went through all this a while ago - it's not obvious is it!
You would think that they would have an ADD button in the Sync Window GUI - FFS! - oi Bill get a grip!

STI, do you already sync other folders to the network ??
ie to your H drive ??
If you do , when you browse them offline, they appear as if connected to your H.
All you would have to do is, create a folder on the offline H drive and put files in it. When connecting to the LAN and synchrinising, the folder and files within it would be saved to the LAN.
(If you create the folder only, it will not be synchronised.)

I was checking my Win2K box.....thought it was the same for XP though.
Hmmmmm.....
What version of XP is it - Pro or Home?
Thinking maybe Home doesnt have this facility??
When I'm at an XP box I'll check again for you.
