Question

I think that's a price cut by Game only?

Dropping the price by £30 might not be such a bad idea - in the run up to Christmas, the Cube becomes the cheapest console, leaving purchasers free to choose which games to buy with the console.

I can understand the cut now - they are going to shift more units before Christmas than after, and they probably don't want to lose out to the other two consoles in the festive period. The hardware is a loss leader anyway....

Interestingly Ninendo doesn't make a loss on its hardware - it costs them $30 per unit.

Smile

Blimey, I didn't realise that. I believe Sony are also making a profit on the units they sell, it's just the XBox that is losing MS money.

Cool

Plus they have those lovely teaser adverts for Zelda, Metroid Prime and a.n.other game (i think) on at the mow too...

Can't wait for MP!

If you get a GC, make sure you get TimeSplitters 2, purely for the first goldeneye esk level

1st game on your list for the Cube should be Mario Sunshine. The best 3D platform game - period!

Also, if you were a fan of the X-WING games on the PC, try Rogue Leader on the Cube - very well put together. Dolby5.1 too.
