Got Timesplitters 2? I played that round a mates' a few weeks ago, it's on my purchase list, that's for sure!

As good as Goldeneye I'd say. The multiplayer on TS2 is ace....

LOTR:TTT is a 3rd person adventure/fighting game. Superb graphics and cutscene transitions. Great character movement and some great moves

According to the mags though Dunk, LOTR is just the same all the way through - looks nice, but apparently you just walk, fight, walk, fight, walk, fight with nothing else to do.

I would go for TS2

Yeah, you're probably right. TS2 is a fantastic game, got in on XBox. Only played LOTR for a bit, so probably does get repetitive.

Si, take a look here:

http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/playsta...litters_2.html

It's a FPS by some of the developers that did Goldeneye - they left Rare and started up on their own.

On the shopping list for my son

- Burnout 2...I played the demo and it's great fun
- Toca Race Driver...also done the demo and good fun as well
- Need for Speed...little fella is raving about the latest version

me?

I'm currently working my way through Metal Gear Solid 2 which has been out for a while so I picked it up at a bargain price of less than 12 quid - I'm seven hours into it and really enjoying it (role playing shoot-the-baddies game). Wouldn't want to try it without the help of a walk-through and once you get started, it becomes addictive.

Picked up WRC II Extreme yesterday and haven't had a chance to play it yet - I will get back to you over the weekend but if reviews are to be believed...it's awesome. We'll see.
