I cannot open any of the photos attached to any thread. I just get an icon with a red X where the photo should be. Any suggestions??

Thanks

If you are at work, it's probably because of firewall settings.

Exclamation

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia > 'Show image download placeholders' - make sure it's not selected.

Or, a home PC, do you have Norton Firewall installed?

It is my home computer, with Mcafee firewall installed. I cannot see any settings which should interfere.

On further inspection, it is only photos uploaded through turbosport which i cannot view, all others seem OK. Is this site permanently offline or is it just me?

Any more ideas please?

I'm not familiar with McAfee, but I'm guessing that it has a privacy feature that prevents web sites from getting information on referrers - the name of the site from which they're linked to.

Turbosport will only serve photos to sites that it knows, of which Scoobynet is one. If it doesn't know you're surfing Scoobynet, it won't give you any bandwidth.

The fix is to reconfigure McAfee to allow referrers to be sent to Turbosport, but I don't know how to do this - sorry.

Andy.
