Dell Dimension XPS T550
P3 550Mhz
256Mb RAM
12.6 Gb HDD
Floppy + CD Rom drive
US Robotics 56K Voice/Fax Modem
Keyboard, Mouse, and 19inch monitor
One of the Scoobyneter is selling the above and he is asking for £300. Which I think is a bit on the high side.
Whats a reasonable price???

IMHO seems a bit over priced to me.
I just looked on Dells website at some of the 'factory outlet' ex-demo/reconditioned units and have seen you can get the following:-
P4-1700 (1.7GHZ), 20GB drive, 256MB RAM, 48X CD, Network card, modem, sound and video cards for £478.73.
To be honest the only thing of any real value could be the monitor, if it's a good quality unit it's more than likely worth 1/2 the price he's asking.
My advice would be to shop around.
550Mhz is really old technology now and little more than scrap value.
The trouble is the bottom has fallen out of the PC market and nobody's really interested in the 'old' kit, apart from techies wanting to run a cheap Linux server or something.

FYI, I think it is a bit steep though the screen could be worth that...
Have a look at a brand new system [http://www.medwaycomputercomponents.co.uk/Shop/Product_Details.asp?DP=0&RP=4025]here[/url] for a whole system which IMHO would be better.
