Angry

I received an email at work today from an internet company saying that someone tried to send an infected message but they were holding it in quarantine. It was also sent to some others at work too but it pretended to be from me at another company.

Now when I get home, I have 3 emails from me from my workmail addy. I try to open my Norton but it crashes each time.

I think it's Bugbear.

What do I do?

I have outlook.

Thumbs up

Thanks Michael, my Norton self destructed so I tried McAfee and it found PWS-Hooker.dll and W32/Bugbear@MM. Not sure what damage it's done though or what to repair.

Cheers

Does Ghost not work in this situation and just re-install a clean system?

Don't worry Floyd, these things happen!

Luckily I was checking my mail through the web access client.
