Imlach - you got ADSL or anything?
I ask because, after wating weeks for a customer number from BT so I could sign up for broadband, they say it's not feckin available in the area.
I'm currently connected to the internet by a piece of wet string and I can't take it no more.

Nope, had Telewest but have moved one mile away so can't get it any more 
They only seem to cable areas with lots of flats, so more density.
I'm only 1.5 miles from Edinburgh city centre ffs, can't believe it.
Satellite is £900 installation and £60 a month....... which I can claim, but seems ott.
Can't they just shift my line to a different exchange or something?
