Dear All,

Ive being speaking to dave. Hes put a bigger hard drive into his Xbox.

I know Sony are planning a Hard drive for the PS2.

If i were to buy a hard drive, Do you think its possible to get it working instead of the memory card.

Also to even downloads games onto it.

i think sony said it was a lap top type adapted because i emailed them last year.

a hard disk is included with the linux kit for PS2, so it can be done

Talking of Linux, SuSe Linux 8 is now running with Xwindows on Xbox !!! Vive le resistance !!! Hows that for a cheap solution for a Linux desktop machine.

Never mind desktop, think of using 'em for server farms... They're small, relatively powerful and above all CHEAP!

Yeah and with the flick of a switch you can play Halo or Sega GT 2002 !! How cool would that be on those long out of hours shifts looking after the server farms......

what i was thinking about today at work.

say i got a hard drive,

Utilising its another matter really!

probs wouldnt work on Fat32 or NTFS file format

only available in japan tho but the magic of the web will get you one. you can get a memory card that you can connect to your pc so you can use it to do save games
