Can anyone tell me how much I can expect to pay for a 2nd hand Apple Mac G3 with 256k RAM ?

approx £300 for the 500mhz and approx £400 for the 600mhz + other hardware goodies ?

Which one. I got £250 for an original Bondi Blue 233. Was inundated with offers. Give me an idea of the spec and colour and I should be able to give you an idea. I work for MacWarehouse.
