If it's VFM you're after, AMD will win.

Wink

lots of new gear on Ebay. Especially PC's. Loads of people build and sell. Just get on there with your budget and check it out for a week or so then go mad.
I'm looking to get a new system right now and see 2Mhz 256MB and 40GB HD for about 300-400 quid, no monitor so thats extra and thats www.ebay.de obviously for me.

These guys sell hundreds of these things, they will not risk their business for your 400quid. Ebay also have a fraud system if you get dinged. I've bought 22 items never a single issue. Relax its the Internet You'll also have their bank details so its hardly annonymous. Look for the guys with loads of sales against their logon and then you can also check customer satisfaction as each sale is rated by the buyer and seller as to how it went off. My only warning is that its more addictive than Crack...LOL Impress them with your Internet knowledge....

Cheers
Cammy

Cheers Ozzy, now how do they do that, Where is Carol Vorderman when you need her

When you misfit the heatsink on your self build AMD you'll fry the chip.

When you misfit the heatsink on the Intel, it'll work out what's happened and not self descruct.

Not saying that you'll knacker the heatsink on your first go or anything. ohhhh no....
