If anyone works for them, tell your bosses to pull their finger out....... They start your billing time from the date you register... Not from when they provide the service. They send your details out to you by 2nd class post!!!!! Mine still havnt arrived after 5.days. Jesus ,2nd class post is for pensioners!!!

Their telephone support is krap..... not even a "You are 2184000 in the queue"!!!!! it just rings and rings and rings and rings....

It might be fast ..so I am told .But so far I am not impressed.
ANyone else finding them a bit backward.....?

not even a "You are 2184000 in the queue"!!!!! it just rings and rings and rings and rings....
That has it's benefits possible - no call charges whilst you hold...

My Pipex setup went realy well. From ordering online it took 10 days to receive my modem, and I was up and running a day before my due activation date.

I dont mind paying for 10 days connection unused - it only comes to about £10, and I plan on having the service for ages now, so a small price in the scheme of things. Plus they saved my £160 on activation and modem costs

Very pleased so far.

Chris, that woulde correct, except that you are queueing in their Call Distribution system, but all you get is a recorded message thanking you for holding and that calls are answered in strict rotation

To be honest, I have had zero problems with the Pipex service, it is their customer service which has gone downhill recently and I am guessing this is due to the recent deluge of new ADSL registrations

I am still waiting for my modem..... They send stuff second class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on only pensioners use 2nd class...

I dont care what offers they have .so far I am not happy. Also will only pay from the moment I get my modem.

got my modem two days after activation date, which took 9 days. v happy with the service but then again todays my first adsl day!!!!! happy surfing!!!

I had enough yesterday.... Drove up and picked up modem from them.
They are in some flashy headquaters ....... God they have problems.............. Anyone ever made it through on the telephone to their help line?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?
Its engaged all day!!!

having read the above link... They are in a mess. To have only 90 people on technical is crazy.. They have known about these problems for ages. I will give it a few weeks and change to AOL or something with good support.

They can take me to court after I cancel my account. They wont fancy the media attention.

THINK HARD before you sign with them.

Yes mate that part was ok..... After a 2 hour round trip!!! They lost my modem and voucher even though I had "Royal Mail proof" of delivery......... But the rest is crazy..... The Log on details and passwords etc . Drive me mad.... And the customer services is ...well, there is NO customer services.... 10-14 days to answer e-mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are taking our money and hoping to "ride it out". Well Unless things get better I am going to change and cancel payments. Any problems with them and I will arrange a "Little demo "out side their nice new offices!!!

Its a shame because they are good........................

Well at last I have got it all sorted. A big thankyou to Anthony at pipex. He had a lot of problems but all ended well. I had to go through the "backdoor "to get to technical help...
But again, Give them a few months to settle down and they will be good. But right now........ If you get a problem you can forget it.
