Default New Laptop time need help

As above I need a new laptop. I have just fitted syvecs ecu to my car and need a laptop for data logs etc, I have a apple Mac now but you can not run syvecs on a Mac so I need to buy something. I know nothing about laptops just need something that's cheap but works well..

Can you not use either Bootcamp or VMware Fusion to run Windows and in-turn the software needed?

Why not dualboot the mac with bootcamp?

I have absolutely no idea what that means. Sorry but I'm not very good with computers

On the mac, go to applications => bootcamp assistant... Follow the instructions.

You will need a copy of windows on a disk/stick whatever.
