I have two domains, one NT4, one Windows2000.

I have setup a trust, so the NT4 domain trusts win2k domain.

On NT4 can I place the win2k groups inside the existing NT4 groups? IF so how? as I cant seem to do it. Or will I have to assign the Win2k groups to the appropiate data dirs on the NT4 domain?

Assign a local group to access the data, then global into local... Global cant go into global and local cant go into local (NT4)

Call yourself an mcse

Mail me if this doesnt make sense..

Is it a 2000 domain or AD?

mcse in 2k thought it was something obvious like that, yes it makes sense, but i didnt want to start recreating the groups again - basically migrating to new win2k ad, and still want to map drives to the old server/domain for the time being during the migration perio.d
