Default advice about products and what to do...?

Some advice from you guys in the know would be much appreciated!

i've got a black (metallic) impreza that has lots of swirls. I've had my 2 previous scoobs detailed and they looked fantastic but i cant quite afford £400+ at the moment....the car does need some attention tho and I would really like to try and restore (even if only a little) and refresh/protect the car - by hand I'm afraid!

I've read the guides and clearly I've not been using the best products in the past and was just about to order the following as per PB guide:
meguiars quick clay kit
menzerna 203s
blackfire gloss enhancing polish

I have some (actually quite alot!) autoglym product leftover from previous. Including:
Bodywork shampoo conditioner
Instant tar remover
Super resin polish
Clean wheels
Paint renovator
Extra gloss protection
Instant tyre dressing
Fast glass

What would be the best way to use these with the above products from the guide? Would it be advisable to use the extra gloss protection as the 'sealant' after the mezerna and blackfire?
Presumably it would be ok and still help to 'lift' the appearance of the car?

You're advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Raj

Wash (Bodywork shampoo conditioner)
Clay (Megs kit)
Polish (SRP)
Sealant (EGP)

I don't know what else EGP works well with other than SRP

If you use the Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish, how about using Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection as a sealant?

Thanks for the reply.
Would extra gloss protection work well with menzerna?
If theres enough super resin polish may just need some clay then??
Would srp help to reduce swirls?

SRP is great at hiding swirls. Just use it sparingly otherwise it's hard work and can leave an excess residue.
I've only used EGP over SRP. I've used plenty of different waxes / sealants over Menz, but never EGP.
The clay will make all the difference if the car hasn't been clayed for a while. Bob
