Had a quick shift in my old wrx.
Defently worth getting...really made a difference to the stick in a bucket gear change.
Although you can sometimes 'beat the gearbox' due to the early cars having a single syncro....basicly you can change quicker than the gearbox is able to..(normally 3rd to 2nd it doesnt like too fast)....but its only a minor thing and you get used to it and adapt.

Cheers Calv, always hated the shift on the Impreza, while i'm replacing the gear lever centreing spring i may as well fit a quick shift while it's all stripped off.

Got a Prodrive one on the car currentlly and that gives a very nice direct gear change, previously I had a no brand one fitted and that didnt work so well, the change felt stiff and a bit forced.
Thanks
