Default since a cam belt change!!!

ive noticed a loud noise comming from the turbo,it only starts about 3000rpm,it sounds like induction roar..but all ive got is a green pannel filter.my scooby is a ym01 bug eye 5 door uk car,with a blitz nur spec r zorst,theres no white/blue smoke,ive read a few other posts about this today and just wandered if anyone could shed some light!!!!

owww,come on guys and girls...this is my wifes account,she had a mitsy colt and loved it,she only uses this site to buy my birthday pressies.is there anywhere in west sussex that could help me out....proven had my car and dented it!!!and wouldnt fix my climate controle!!!!!

if you go back 5 years ago i was ant boy so im not that new ....just looking for help,but im kind of getting that feeling once again that thats not going to happen

thanx.....and good bye...you guys are so helpfull......maybee halfords can help me out....all i wanted was a bit of help...but as usual you lot stick together,i love my scooby,it means the world to me..and i thought this site might help me out

Give folks some time to respond! This sound, is it a whining sound? and are you running standard boost?

standard boost.nothing has changed since a cam belt change...theres not been a drop in power,but it seems an awful lot noisier,its comming from the drivers side.even from start up it seems very noisy??

this may sound stupid mate... but have you checked the airbox cover is properly closed ? sometimes the lugs (closest to the engine) are hard to locate with green/k&n panel filters.

yeah.was loose....but relocated it..problem still there.theres a definate noise over 3000rpm,its a bit like a chatter sound,if you know what i mean,nothing is loose from the turbo downpipe from what i can see...and this problem definatly started afrer the cam belt change!!!!

even from start up the engine has sounded louder,more tinny..i put my bung in to the blitz nur spec. and you can here the differenc,lol all im asking realy is is my turbo damaged?what should i do?
