Hi,
Welcome to SN
The car you have linked too definetly looks like a WRX too me which is 260bhp if I am not mistaken. Looks like someone has slapped an STi badge on the boot lid. I am sure someone will be along to give you the full ins and outs of what the difference would be between an STi and the WRX. The one thing to consider with buying an import is running on UK fuel as it doesn't say anywhere in the listing it has been set up for this... Don't let that put you off though there are many ways around it and it looks like a very very tidy example of an early Classic! Best colour too

Its a 94 wrx, 237bhp on super unleaded, blown up on normal unleaded
crap brakes, and it can be a bad thing, you wont know the history of it, or a good thing, depends on the car, your better off with a uk car thats newer for the price tbh with fssh

The problem with a Jap import is that the history is that unless you can read Japanese, it is pretty much un-obtainable to retrieve the info about the car. If it looked pretty mint and at the right price then you just hae to think about taking a risk, but.. the older the car, the higher the risk.
