hi guys quick question i have a mate just rang me one of his belts as snapped on his wagon its the belt that works the alternater and pulley next to power steering is the car safe to drive home or not ....
Their easy to swop, you'll need a 12mm socket and a small extention will help. The alternator and air con pump both have an adjuster, and a locking bolt. Undo the locking bolt(pointed forward,on a sloted guide)then slacken off the top adjuster bolts, which will allow you to remove the belts, then install in reverse order,it'll all become cleare when you have a look, job done!
Even without, the battery will last at least 20 miutes (keep other electrical load down!) and he will have to heave it without PAS, but it is driveable.
