Bought mine brand new from Nengun in Japan. Straight swap in terms of size. There are AFAIK two sizes though, 80mm and 90mm, just as there are two sizes of Subaru fitted MAF.

AFAIK, a Z32 is 80mm and a direct swap for the stock one, with regards to size.

The Q45 maf however, is 90mm and bigger than Z32. You might have gotten that one.

this is how my Z32 looked:

Q45 unit is fine to use, although it's 90mm in diameter.

It will require different airflow scaling to both the Z32 and the standard one.

Because they can't be used without rescaling, which you can't do unless you've got a mappable ECU. And tbh neither MAF are made by Nissan or Subaru, they're both made by Unisia JECS in Japan.
