Default Advice for storing for upto a year

Im having a few difficulties with insurance due to a pending claim, basicaly it's marked as a fault until they claim their money back from the other insurance then it'll change to a non fault. someone drove across a traffic island and hit the front on my car. So the short storey is A-plan can no longer insure my Wrx which means im going to have to store it for upto a year. it on a 57 plate so i want to make sure it's going to be fine, is their any advice on what to do with it such as using leaving the handbrake off with choks on the wheels ect..

Thanks,
Shane

Reduce fuel in tank to almost empty, stick on axle stands, reduce pressure in tyres to around 15psi, disconnect battery, leave windows cracked open if possible all around, handbrake off, lever brake pads back into calipers (or remove all together if on axle stands with tyres off). Cover with a car cover or tarpaulin.

It's what I do when I leave the car in the garage or lock up for around 6 to 7 months every other year. Works for me. Just have a jerry can of fresh fuel to put in, nice freshly charged battery and all should be fine when you come to start her up again. Leaving the windows open allows air to circulate around preventing it from smelling a bit damp later.
