Yesterday afternoon, some local car thieves had a go at someone elses Scooby in our offices' so called secure car park.

I found out and went to see what was going on, only to be faced by a Scooby sitting on the ground on it's axles. The b*stards had removed three of the wheels after breaking in to it, pulling it out of the it's car park space - hitting other cars on the way out.

In the end they got away with two of the wheels - they were last seen speeding off in an XR2i over a grass verge that surrounds the car park, laughing and swearing at those who tried to give chase.

I am not sure whether they tried to steal the car, gave up for some reason and then decided to take the wheels.

when I saw it I felt physically sick for the owner! They had made a mess of a very nice car.

It just makes you think that people think that they can get away with it in broad daylight, in a protected car patk with CCTV.

I guess they are not safe anywhere!

Peter

Peter

My condolences.

I assume that the car wasn't fitted with locking wheel nuts?

Does your secure car park have CCTV?

sorry to hear that. They are scum
and should be treated appropriately.

We had someone break into a car in
our office car park and stole a load
of stuff. The odd thing is that there
are ground floor offices literally feet
away and no-one saw a thing :O(

Perhaps we should take a leaf out of our
South African friends car security mindset..
put flame throwers under the car.

Sorry - didn't make it clear that it wasn't my car - I decided on the train this week. Not sure who the owner is, but I had seen the car in the car park a few times before.

If the driver is on scoobynet then my condolences go out to them.

They should be shot dead and left to rot in the gutter where all the other thieving scumbags can see

What to do with them seems to be fairly even accross this bbs over topics like this.

So why the f**k dosen't our poxy govenment start handing out punishments to frighten of this type of scum?

Vote for the 'cut their nads off party' next time.
