MAF could be likely, have you noticed any fluctuation in fuel economy lately, perhaps more miles to a tank?

AFAIK the MAF degrades over time, so it's difficult to assess whether it's actually failed or not. If possible, the best idea is to try a new (or newer) one for a quick drive, and see if that helps.

Failed MAF can cause serious damage is left unchecked for some time, if you can, get it swapped, particularly if your car is +3 years and on it's original sensor.

I was just going to say that bad fuel and dirty injectors can cause this too, but if it is only when you turn the lights on then it cannot be maybe the battery is dying or your alternator is not working properly. Is it also doing it after you drive it and then turn the lights on ?

yes, when i first start the car it idles perfectly, as soon as i turn the lights on they drop and keep fluctuating. I drove around for a bit and then pulled over and turned m lights off and it idled normally.

sounds electrical to me, sounds like ya need to have ya alternator/battery checked out especially if you like ya tunes in the car, depending on the age of car the wiring between to components can deteriorate over time, if not maff sensor or lamda probe possible......hope this helps
