There's no need for a WR2. The WR1 has been so successful they're just commencing production on another 500 of them...

The guy on top gear probably just tried to drive both cars i the same way...which would be a bit of a mistake really, as they are 2 different beasts.

Lol, unless, of course, the comment above was a red herring, deliberately designed to put you all off the scent.

yeah but didn't they do the same with the P1 and there were a fair number sitting around unsold for a while?

just thinking maybe the backlash of bad press might put off some of the next 500 potential owners?

i remember asking the same question at autosport show and being told that they would only make 500... i responded by saying just like the p1 and he went very quiet and locked the wr1!
it is interesting that on a couple of threads people are cancelling orders!
i hope they do only make 500 as it is supposed to be a limited model and not make more like the clio williams/p1

Default Sales Speak

I was wondering what blurb Subaru would put in the sales brochure for the new car ?

The Subaru WR2, the car that will keep you on the straight and narrow.

The Subaru Impreza WR2, The car that irons out the twisties.

The WR2, for the man who needs a change of direction.

The Subaru WR2, the driving experience that will drive you round the bend.

Just a laugh.
