Giggs joy as car found

COPS hunting carjackers who beat up the brother of soccer star Ryan Giggs and stole his Porsche have arrested a man, it was revealed yesterday.


The star was delighted after they also found Rhodri Giggs’ £60,000 motor in a swoop on a lock-up garage.

The Porsche 911 Carrera was pinpointed just 24 hours after it was stolen on Friday — thanks to its tracking device.

Battered Rhodri, 26, a semi pro footballer for Bacup in Lancs, was parked at a takeaway in Whalley Range, Manchester.

His Manchester United ace brother, 30, has since lent him a £50,000 Subaru to drive around in.

The Porsche was found in Blackburn — 35 miles from where it was stolen.

Police confirmed: “A man from Blackburn has been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.”

 

that would be the same ryan giggs who destroyed his clutch by driving with his diff lock on

Makes no diference in value, it must be highly modified to warant any value increases over any other 22B TypeUK which in good condition are worth around £30K IMHO.

As some of you know I own one of the UK 22b's, and have been collecting data on the history and where abouts of the other 15 cars. If anyone knows the registration number of Gigg's 22b please email me it off line as we all know its not good to post details on here....

Ahhh... the joys of being a student come flooding back!

 

They've quoted the price that Giggs originally bought the car for when it was new!! (yes, they were changing hands for that sort of money at the time)

I was under the impression that he'd sold his 22B a couple of years ago.

 

Just because it was in the papers doesnt mean its true,its the same when they show somebodys scabby house and say he was last seen at his £350k mock tudor mansion, when its plainly an end terrace in Moss side.
