im looking at putting a spec c steering rack on my blob sti, just a couple of question

how much do they usually go for?
is it a big job to change?

My car is off the road for next couple months I'm going to be fitting a new 2015 rack to my Hawk , ( if you look on the American forums that's what they are doin now , opposed to the spec c quick rack ... Inner control arms may need a change & the subframe will require a slight modification but that's it .. /

Just another option for you to think about

They go for between £250-300, straight swap as long as its the right one e.g non widetrack or widetrack and there was a company that did even quicker racks in the USAiiii but think they went bust

Should be straight swap but sometimes the steering angle sensor throws up a fault if you have dccd and will need to be reprogrammed at subaru or a mapper a jdm rack is very short aswell if you cant find a spec c

Heh guys, one of you says a jdm STi has the same 13.1 rack and the other says a jdm rack is very short

Is there any evidence for either of these statements?
Maybe a post that refers to steering rack part numbers and their respective ratios?

Many thanks
