Question

An early Honda Integra Type R? (An R-reg UK supplied one with FHSH should be about the top of what you are willing to spend)

I'll go with Andy Tang...................an early Intergra Type-r would be the way forward for you my friend!

Unfortunately for your money it will almost definately be white with the Red seats, however Honda have confirmed that throughout all of the Type-r powered range of cars (integra, Civic, Accord), non have ever had a warranty engine claim, and i saw one at Santa Pod at USC with over 100k miles and it ran a high 13 1/4 mile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh almost 4got, they are one of the best handling front wheel drive cars ever, and the engine is too die for.

An early imported impreza. Not only are they cheap, but they outperforms the newer bug-eyed ones.

Cant remember what mag it was.. But best car for less than £10, 000
was the Integrale. You could get a good EVO1 for £7-8000...

Was one of only 3 cars out of the many, many sportscars listed that got a max 10/10 for fun.
E30 M3 was another, cant remember the other. Maybe the exige which is out of the price range anyway..

Correction, you can get an Ev0 II for near to nothing now. They can't seem to shift it as fast as second hand subarus for some reason.

Early Scoobs and Integrale's are good cars lads , but for Munna's budget he would need at least a couple of grand back up if any problems occur with the above mentioned, not to mention the servicing convenience and cost difference.

Munna if you can, try and get a 98- car with the four four circular headlamps, these are the Jap/UK ones and not American (like the single piece light versions which are slightly older and cheaper), reasons for this being that they are less to insure (actually speaking of insurance you'll be looking at £1000 to insure an Integra depending on your age! e.g. my friend is 28 has owned the car 2 years and his is aroung 800fc), but are more crucially 'avoided by the dealers' for servicing etc wheras the newer ones are not.

If you haven't driven one 'get out there' and have a go they are fookin awesome, and as for value for money then they are very difficult to beat.

PS not a dig lads I think the 'Grale is one of the best homologation wagons ever created and as for older cheaper Scoobs then 'bang for your buck' fantastic.

You don't use the bus much do you? Trust me, after 2 weeks commuting on 2 busses and train for a single journey to Reading every day, you'd be willing to buy a Nova..
