Would 1.2 bar be safe on a UK MY97?

What year?

Run it around 1.2 bar if it's a later model. I run one on a MY95 and it's set to 1 bar at WOT in fifth. Fuel cut is set at around 1.05 on pre 96 but quite a bit higher on later models.

Cool

You could always build a lifter for a pre MY97 (search for DIY FCD thread - cost <£15) & safely run 15 PSI - Fuel cut is currently approx 1.05 bar on UK MY95s.

Or you could always upgrade your ECU for not much
more http://shop.scoobynet.co.uk/Product.asp?ProductID=499 and enjoy better fuelling, ignition & boost mapping without the fuel-cut or need for a Dawes or FCD.

Cheers,

Chris

Dont know what the fuel cut is on yours m8 but 1.2 bar = 17 psi (or thereabouts) , fuel-cut on a MY01+ WRX is 17.5psi - Watch it in 5th gear and on cold days ......... Best to run it at 1.1 bar m8
